Mr. Wilson has held membership in Kappa Kappa Psi and their National Intercollegiate Band, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and the Association of Texas Small School Bands previously serving as a region coordinator for five years.
